Atopic eczema/Atopic dermatitis - a chronic skin disorder marked by an itchy scaly rashes in infants and toddlers.

Impetigo - a bacterial infection of the skin carrying microscopic pus-filled blisters: a common baby rash on the face.

Eczema herpeticum - a viral skin infection related to herpes that can be quite serious, if left untreated. It tends to affect children who suffer from atopic eczema.

Congenital Haemangioma - a vascular lesion that is fully developed and shows up at birth. Aquired hemangioma's develop later, in infants.

Viral rashes/viral exanthems - a viral illness that initially begins with an eruption or a skin rash in children of all ages.

Nappy rash/ Diaper rash/ Diaper Dermatitis - skin inflammation or rash triggered by contact with feces.

Viral warts – Growths in the skin caused by a virus- can occur in children of any age.

Molluscum Contagiosum - a mild skin rash caused by a viral infection. The rash appears as wart-like clumps termed 'mollusca'. They can be skin-colored, white or pink.

Hand, foot and mouth disease – a viral illness that is contagious. Presents as a blistering rash. Infants and young children are usually affected by this disease. The hand, foot and mouth are the main areas affected.

Alopecia areata/ hair loss - Hair loss caused by damage of hair follicles.

Psoriasis - a chronic condition of the skin marked by inflammation and redness. It can also result in silvery scales on their elbows, scalp, and knees.

Cradle cap - marked by a greasy, scaly, yellowish rash seen in patches on the scalp of a baby. Rashes on the face (eczema) may be associated with cradle cap.
